Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Pace mobile application ("Pace" or "the App") operated by The Harmonia Lab LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Pace is an AI-powered voice journal application that provides:
- Voice recording and transcription
- AI-powered analysis, summaries, and task extraction
- Note organization and categorization
- Optional cloud backup
Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Subscriptions and Payments
Free Tier
Pace offers a free tier with limited transcription minutes per month. No payment is required.
Paid Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
Credit Packs
One-time credit pack purchases provide additional transcription minutes that do not expire. These are non-refundable once purchased.
Trial Period
New users receive a one-time trial of 60 transcription minutes. Trial minutes do not renew and are voided upon subscribing to a paid plan.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Transmit harmful content through the App
- Use the App to record others without their consent where required by law
- Share your account credentials with others
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of The Harmonia Lab LLC. Your content (voice recordings, transcripts, notes) remains yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service (transcription, AI analysis).
AI-Generated Content
Pace uses AI to generate summaries, insights, and suggestions based on your recordings. AI-generated content:
- May not always be accurate or complete
- Should not be relied upon as professional advice (medical, legal, financial)
- Is provided for informational and organizational purposes only
Data and Privacy
Your use of Pace is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Features requiring network connectivity (transcription, AI analysis, sync) depend on third-party services.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Harmonia Lab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
